These terms govern your use of the zi2.app website and the free domain check offered on it. They are an agreement between you and Zenith Intelligence Technologies Inc., a corporation organised under the laws of the State of Maryland, United States.
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
We may change these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
zi2.app is our company website. It describes what we build, how we operate, and how to reach us. It also hosts one working tool, described in the next section.
Everything on the site is provided for information. Nothing here is an offer, a warranty, professional advice, or a commitment to provide any product or feature.
The check on this site reads four public DNS records for a domain you type in, and reports what it finds. It is free, requires no account, and imposes no usage agreement beyond this one.
The check reports what public DNS says at the moment you run it. DNS changes, propagates unevenly, and can be cached. A result is a reading, not a certification, and not a security assessment of the domain.
We may change, limit or withdraw the check at any time.
Use the site lawfully and without interfering with it or with anyone else's use of it. You agree not to:
If you believe you have found a security problem in anything we run, write to [email protected] and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix it before you disclose it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a problem in good faith and does not access or alter data belonging to others.
The products described on this site are separate services with their own terms and their own privacy notices. Signing up for one is an agreement with us about that product.
Nothing in this document creates any right to a product, and nothing here changes a product agreement you have already entered into.
The site, its text, layout, code and design are ours or are used with permission. The ZI² name and logo are our marks. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. You may not reproduce the site or substantial parts of it.
The ZI² Certified attestation protocol is the subject of a United States provisional patent application and is written up as an internet draft so that others can implement it. The draft is offered so the protocol can be implemented; that offer is not a licence to our marks, and not a waiver of patent rights.
The site links to our own products and to third-party sites. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for them. A link is not an endorsement.
The site and the domain check are provided as they are, and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the site or the check will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free of error.
We do not warrant that any figure, description or result on this site is complete or current.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business, arising out of your use of this site or the domain check, whether the claim is in contract, tort or otherwise, and whether or not we were told such damages were possible.
Because this site and the check are provided free of charge, our total liability to you in connection with them is limited to one hundred United States dollars (USD 100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. Where that is so, the exclusions and limitations above apply to the greatest extent permitted, and nothing here limits liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You will indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the site or the check, or from your breach of these terms or of any law.
We may block access to the site, or to the check, from any address or party that in our reasonable judgement is misusing it. We do not have to give notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of this site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts sitting in Washington County, Maryland, and you and we each consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings locally, or gives you protections that cannot be waived by agreement, this section does not remove those rights.
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest continues in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to a successor to our business. These terms, together with our privacy notice, are the entire agreement between you and us about this website.
