Privacy Notice

Last updated 7 September 2026 · EN · FR · ES

This notice explains what happens to information when you visit zi2.app or use the free domain check on it. It is short because the site does very little with your data.

In one paragraph. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and stores nothing in your browser. The domain you type into the check is never sent to our servers. Our web server keeps ordinary request logs for a short period. Two third parties see your IP address when your browser fetches from them: Google, for the fonts, and Cloudflare, for the DNS lookup the check performs.

1. Who is responsible

Zenith Intelligence Technologies Inc., a Maryland corporation, is the controller for the information described here. Write to [email protected] with any question or request.

This notice covers the zi2.app website only. Each product has its own privacy notice, linked from our terms of use.

2. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking

The site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no tag manager and no advertising or measurement pixel. It writes nothing to local storage or session storage. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

3. Server logs

Like any web server, ours records a line for each request. A log line contains your IP address, the time, the page requested, the response code, and the browser's user-agent and referrer strings.

We use these logs to keep the site running, to see that pages are being served correctly, and to investigate abuse or attack. They are not used to build profiles or for marketing. They are kept for up to 30 days and then rotated away, except where a specific line is retained longer as part of investigating an incident.

The lawful basis, where the GDPR applies, is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.

4. The domain check, in detail

This is the only interactive feature on the site, so it deserves a precise description.

What this means for you. We cannot tell you which domains have been checked, because we do not know. It also means Cloudflare receives the query, together with your IP address, and handles it under its own privacy terms. If you would rather not send a query to Cloudflare, do not use the check; nothing else on the site depends on it.

The check reads only records that are already public: the ZI² Certified server key, SPF, DKIM and DMARC. It does not connect to the domain's mail server, send mail, or attempt any access.

5. Fonts, and the one other third party

The pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, at fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. When your browser fetches them, Google receives your IP address and the fact that a font was requested. We receive nothing from Google in return, and no identifier is set.

Together with Cloudflare's resolver, described above, that is the complete list of third parties your browser contacts on this site.

6. When you write to us

If you email [email protected], we receive your address, your message and anything you attach. We use it to answer you and to keep a record of the exchange. Correspondence is kept while there is a reason to keep it, generally no longer than three years after the matter closes, unless a longer period is required of us.

Mail sent to us travels over our own mail infrastructure. Our mail systems apply automated filtering to inbound messages in order to reject unsolicited and fraudulent mail.

7. Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

8. Where information is held

Our servers are in Europe and are operated by us. If you are outside that region, visiting the site necessarily transfers your IP address and request details there. Where the GDPR applies to a transfer, we rely on the appropriate safeguards available to us, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses where they are required.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. You may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Write to [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days. Because this site collects so little, the practical answer to most requests is that the only record connected to your visit is a short-lived server log line.

10. Security

The site is served over TLS. Administrative access to the systems behind it is restricted and logged. We do not hold accounts or payment details on this site, because it has neither.

11. Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
